“The Pop Queen of Asia” A-Mei

A-Mei is the first Taiwanese singer to be interviewed by CNN and was on thecover page of Times Magazine Asia Edition; She was interviewed by Discovery Taiwan Biography and BIO; she is also recognized by media, musicians and fans as the Pop Queen in Mandarin music world. She released 16 albums in total, held the best selling concerts and mobilized thelargest audience amongst Asia Mandarin female singers. Intotal she sold out 10million unities in Taiwan and 50 millions in Asia.

Her experimental album “AMIT” in 2009 created great sensations and received 6 awards of her 10 nominations in Taiwan Golden Melody Awards and fruitful in other important awards. She knew people are watching: for everyone else, A-Mei is Pop Queen, but for A-Mei, she just wants to be herself, to challenge herself and make new breakthroughs.
