Music Poet The best new male artist

Li Jian graduated from Tsinghua University and was a member of the famous band “Age of water & wood” andthen went solo. He was called “the Music Poet” for his gentle air, unique style, clean voice, calm mind and warm emotions. Li Jian released four self-produced albums such as “The years flow by like water”, “Here for you”, “Missing you” and “The proud back bone of Music” and won a lot of major awards. His concerts in Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou were all sold out and in 2010 his solo tour extended to 10 cities nationwide.

Li Jian also ventures into movies. He wrote “23seconds, 32 years” and “Color me love” as the theme songs for the movie “Tangshan Earthquake” and performed the latter. He also collaborated with famous Japanese musician Joe Hisaishi to write the theme song “Love dearly” for the performance “Magical Da Li” set in actual scenery.

Meanwhile, Li Jian as a scholar and leader of the youth actively devotes his time to social welfare and charities, and he is the first Chinese spokesperson for the “World Earth Day”.
